About Us

Our Story

Home Sweet Home (HSH) was founded in 2021 by Sydney businesswoman Anny Huang. Prior to establishing HSH, Anny’s personal family experiences led her to realise that for many people in need of physical, mental and emotional support, the National Disability Insurance Scheme was either unknown or very challenging to organise.

In particular, the language barrier for some members of the Australian Chinese community made accessing this Australian Government support almost impossible. Anny decided she was passionate about giving back to the community and entering a specialised, caring profession where providing people with their best possible life would be her focus. She set about mastering NDIS practice standards and the Code of Conduct and worked hard to achieve full compliance, registration and certification, which makes HSH a trusted partner in organising the NDIS planning, application and management process.

Anny’s strong passion for improving the lives of individuals and building stronger, happier communities was realised through forming HSH and assembling a team of like-minded people. More than a business, HSH represents the very best qualities in caring, respecting and empowering those in need with honesty and integrity.

Support you can rely upon

HSH’s carers are chosen for their outstanding qualities of nurturing, interpersonal skills and support. Your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing is their focus. Just like having a caring family member, you’ll feel included and connected to a brighter future.

What We Believe

We believe everyone should have the right to enjoy life despite different situations and individual challenges.

Your First Choice

HSH is the first choice for anyone who qualifies for the NDIS. We’ll help you to map out your personal goals to assist you physically and smooth the way ahead.

We believe in empowering the individual and giving them the support, they need to live their best life. We respect that everyone has their own interests and needs, so we tailor innovative and flexible support plans, always keeping in mind the happiness of the participant and their emotional wellbeing.

Supportive Community

HSH is creative, perceptive and responsive to your individual needs. As your partners in the NDIS, we help embed you in a supportive community, enabling you to enjoy opportunities and activities which are part of a rich and fulfilling life.

Why Us

HSH takes the time to understand your situation before recommending any plans or actions. We carefully match our carers to you. Consideration is given to personal preferences, personalities and interests, whilst regular reviews and open communication ensures continuity of positive outcomes.

We provide 100% transparency of every transaction relating to your NDIS benefits. You are in control and HSH will always respect your wishes.

We strive to plan appropriate community activities for our NDIS participants’ enjoyment and wellbeing. We also aim to offer a regular programme of training workshops in life skills, focussing on individual empowerment and growth.

Our carers and support staff treat participants like family: with love and understanding. We focus on selecting staff who are kind, outgoing, empathetic and friendly.

Our fluent Chinese speaking carers remove language barriers and the stress of navigating the complex NDIS requirements for the Australian Chinese community.
